Investing in Education

The Joan and Cecil Reaser Memorial Scholarship was founded in 2020 and fully funds a two-year Associate Degree (including books) at Lorain County Community College to one Elyria Catholic High School graduate each year. This scholarship was created by our foundation to help alleviate the burden of working full-time through high school and college so that the selected scholarship recipient will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in college and advance through higher education.

In 2021, our foundation donated funds to fully transition Elyria Catholic High School’s football field into a state of the art synthetic turf stadium. Named after 1978 graduate and foundation director Dan Reaser, the all new Dan Reaser Stadium has was created with the idea of attracting more future students to the school, along with providing the most advanced way for present student-athletes to train and perform on the field.

The Grand Room inside the Spitzer Conference Center at Lorain County Community College was officially name the “Reaser Grand Room” in July of 2016 after our foundation pledged a long-term donation fund to LCCC. Weddings, banquets, conferences and more can be held at the Reaser Grand Room, and is home to many prestigious events each year.
